After MANY dishonest, expensive and frustrating experiences with large franchised auto repair services, I feel blessed to have found the family owned and operated Walko Automotive Service in Hillsborough NJ. I live in Skillman Nj and although its about 10 miles from home, their honesty, knowledge and skill is like a breath of fresh air and well worth the drive. I have met the owner, his wife and technician Kiel, all three were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Kiel gave my car a detailed check and informed me by phone of a few problems. They then emailed me the same report detailing everything including cost to repair. It would cost me around $780. What they didn't know was that I had been given an estimate from "THE FRANCHISE" for $3780 for repairs that turns out were not needed. I double and treble checked with Kiel about everything on that list. Their honesty and excellent expertise will keep me and our 3 cars coming back. I will inform all my friends about them too.
